Our client's meeting spaces needed some upgrades, so we updated this compact meeting space, along with another smaller meeting room, as well as their larger conference room. Some of the upgrades were done for each specific space, but for some of the enhancements, we were able to use equipment that covered all three spaces.
We upgraded the control system for all three rooms with a new Crestron Control system, but to run the smaller meeting rooms, we installed a single-gang keypad that allows a user to control the TV and other A/V equipment, the shades, and other equipment that may need to be installed in the future. From the keypad, the user can select the video source and adjust the volume.
We also upgraded the A/V system to a 4K-capable video-over-IP system that can distribute four sources to eight destinations.
We also placed four new 70V speakers in the ceiling to enhance the audio, and we replaced the TV with a Sony 75" Smart LED 4K Ultra High Definition TV, which we connected to the new A/V system.
All of these seemingly minor enhancements amounted to a totally changed space in the end, with better and faster performance for our client.
