Large Divisible Community Room

This large multipurpose room needed updates to run more efficiently and effectively, so we did several upgrades that made a huge impact in the way the room functioned.

Since the room is very large and can be divided into two separate rooms that are able to function independently, some of the updates needed to be duplicated. We installed two new A/V lecterns in both the "A" and "B" sides of the room. Each side also got a new 22" Crestron control monitor with touch screen capabilities in each podium that can serve as both a control panel, as well as a computer monitor.

We also replaced the room's NEC projectors with two new WUXGA 1080P laser projectors, and we replaced the older projection screens with two new 137" 16:10 screens that we were able to install in the existing screen cases.

In the back of the room, we hung two 60" TVs and new digital A/V routing equipment to minimize the floor box-to-podium connections and to support these additional displays.

We also put in a new 3-Series Crestron control processor, as well as a new Biamp DSP that we programmed to accommodate the existing microphones and overhead audio requirements of the room. This equipment covered the entire area and didn't need to be duplicated.

Our client ended up with improved equipment that produced better audio, video, and control, and not one, but two spaces with enhanced features and functionality.
