Innovative Work Lounge

In this bright and cheerful work lounge, our client needed a large TV and an easy way for users to connect their own devices as well as use wireless presentation software in order to collectively brainstorm and collaborate.

We installed a Sony 65" TV on an XL tilt-mount, and behind that, placed two versa boxes in the wall that would house some equipment that we provided to control the room, as well as some of the equipment the client provided. Between the two boxes, we put in power conditioning, a WePresent, an AppleTV, a microPC, a Control4 EA-1, and two USB RX baluns.

Below the TV, we placed an HDMI and USB wall plate for easy access, and then off to the side of the TV, we installed a Control4 configurable keypad that allows users to follow the one-touch prompts on the keypad to select their media source and turn everything off when they are finished.

Ease of use for the space's collaborators allows for better creativity and innovation, so making sure the lounge was user-friendly was our primary goal that we ultimately met.
