Riverside Training Room

This training room is a unique space because it can function as one large room, or it can be divided into four separate training rooms that are controlled individually. Due to this, the project involved doing many of the same upgrades and enhancements four times over so that each space had equal and independent functionality.

Each room got a new NEC laser projector with power conditioning, as well as new projection screens with quiet drive motors. New 22" Crestron touch screens were placed at each podium, and each podium received new digital connections, with inputs including room PC, laptop, and Blu-Ray player. We eliminated the need for many of the existing connections to the podium with the new wiring, making everything cleaner and more user-friendly.

Other upgraded equipment included four new Blu-Ray players, four new handheld microphones, four new lapel microphones, and a new amplifier in each room to power the existing speakers.

We added occupancy sensing to each entrance so that the entire room doesn't "wake up" when unnecessary, saving energy.

In some instances, the overall space needed some enhancements that one or two devices could handle and still provide coverage for the entire space. We added a new Crestron control processor, a new uninterrupted power supply, new power conditioning, and two new digital signal processors with integrated audio conferencing.

The resulting space is one that can work as one large training room, or one that can be seamlessly divided into four separate training spaces.
