For this project, we focused on two conference rooms, one larger, and one smaller, which affected our decisions for conferencing solutions. In the larger conference room, we opted for a projection system, given the size and depth of the room. In this space, we suspended a high-powered Epson projector from the ceiling to project on a large, motorized screen that we surface mounted to the ceiling, directly above the large windows at the end of the room. For sound, we installed 4 in-ceiling speakers to provide high-quality audio evenly throughout the room.

We then installed a round interface box into the table that connected to the electronics in a nearby cabinet. This box provides a retractable HDMI connection, a USB dongle connection, and a power outlet for users.

We added a new 4K AppleTV, a customer-supplied WePresent, and a customer-supplied PC to a nearby cabinet and interconnected them via a 4x1 HDMI switch. All the devices we connected to the switch can be viewed on the projection screen. To control the room, we went with a Control4 automation system to run all the electronics in the room. To give the room even more one-touch functionality, we placed a configurable keypad on the wall that allows users to select the source to view on the screen, as well as control volume, and control the power.

In the small conference room, we did much of the same, but due to its smaller size, we were able to use many electronic items the customer already had. The room is too small for projection, so we used the customer's TV, which fit the space nicely. We installed the customer's AppleTV and micro PC in versa boxes behind the TV to keep them out of sight. Then, we added the same type of interface box to the table that we had placed in the larger conference room, and again utilized Control4 to run the room, with the same wall-mounted keypad that allows users one-touch functionality.
