BlueCross BlueShield- Nashville City Center Conference Room
Premium video conferencing in a luxury high-rise
About This Project
Transforming a large corporate conference room into a seamless hybrid meeting environment, this project centered on creating an experience where technology stays out of the way and lets people focus on the work. A pair of 98" commercial-grade 4K displays anchor the front of the room, while an intelligent auto-tracking camera system follows the conversation automatically — no camera operator needed, no awkward framing. Whether a presenter is at the podium or a discussion moves around the table, the system detects the active speaker and adjusts, delivering a professional broadcast-quality view to every remote participant on the Microsoft Teams call.
Audio was treated with equal care. Dante-networked microphones distributed across the conference table feed into professional digital signal processors with acoustic echo cancellation, ensuring remote participants hear the room clearly without feedback or echo. Eight ceiling speakers fill the space with far-end audio at natural, consistent levels throughout. The entire room — displays, cameras, microphones, motorized window shades, and lighting — is unified under a Crestron control system accessible from a 10" touchscreen at the table or the existing podium. Shades adjust on a schedule or at the touch of a button to eliminate glare, and occupancy sensors automatically bring the room to life when someone walks in and power it down when they leave.
The result is a conference room that operates at an enterprise level without requiring an IT team in the room to run it.
