Well Advantage

The Well Advantage Fitness Center is part of a 20,000 square foot facility specifically for city of Chattanooga employees. It has doctor's offices, a pharmacy, even a test kitchen. We were brought in to outfit the fitness center with state of the art technology, audio, video, and some other perks that you might find at private gyms or clubs.

There are five main areas to the fitness center where we did installations: the free weight area, the spin room, an exercise room for classes, the lobby, and a flexible space that is mostly used for presentations. I'll break down what we did in these spaces.

In the lobby area, we added an XBox and Kinect so visitors could enjoy game-based exercises in the waiting area. For the entire facility, we installed a 70-volt audio sytem throughout that uses Sonos streamers and Episode amplifiers. We hung five TVs in the free weight and machine space, as well as one in the spin room. There are Sony Blu-Ray players for more content options for the TVs. Everything is controlled via Control4, so we useed Control4 Processors and remote controls for the televisions. In the flex space, we installed a projection screen.

We later added sound in the test kitchen, with its own receiver and two on-wall speakers.

The facility boasts the same amenities as any private gym. At opening, more than 60% of the city's employess began utilizing the facility in some way. Our reliable system insures that the heavy foot traffic and usage is uninterrupted and working properly for the many visitors.
