What Smart Systems does with Ubiquiti
Smart Systems designs and installs Ubiquiti UniFi networks for homes and businesses in Chattanooga, TN, East Tennessee and North Georgia: enterprise access points for whole-property and outdoor Wi-Fi coverage with proper roaming and band steering, managed switching with VLAN segmentation so smart home devices, AV equipment and personal devices stay on separate secure networks, and cloud-managed monitoring, firmware updates and remote troubleshooting. A modern smart home can carry 50 to 100 or more connected devices; UniFi is the platform the team most often installs to handle that load.
Networks are built on structured wiring — Cat6A throughout, custom rack builds and clean cable management — and many existing homes are upgraded from consumer routers without opening walls by reusing existing cable runs.
Typical budgets: a basic enterprise Wi-Fi upgrade starts around $3K–$5K; full structured wiring with a rack build, managed switching and whole-home coverage typically ranges from $8K–$25K+.
Ubiquiti work is quoted as part of home networking and Wi-Fi, where those bands are published.
