WePresent Wireless Presentation
Many Smart Systems conference rooms include a WePresent wireless presentation system that lets you share your screen without cables.
How to Connect
- Check the display — When the WePresent is active, the screen will show instructions including the IP address or room code
- From a laptop:
- Open a web browser and type the IP address shown on screen - Download and run the WePresent launcher (first time only) - Click "Connect" to share your screen
- From a phone or tablet:
- Download the WePresent app from the App Store or Google Play - Enter the room code or IP address - Tap "Present" to share your screen
Tips for Best Performance
- Stay on the same network — Your device must be on the same Wi-Fi network as the WePresent unit
- Close unnecessary apps — Streaming video while presenting can reduce quality
- Use the "Freeze" feature — If you need to check notes or switch apps without the room seeing, use the freeze button
Troubleshooting
Can't find the WePresent: - Verify you are on the correct network (not a guest network)
- Restart the WePresent by power cycling it from the equipment rack
Screen share is laggy: - Reduce your screen resolution temporarily
- Close bandwidth-heavy applications
