Smart Systems stands behind the work we do and the products we install.

What Is Typically Covered

  • Labor warranty — We will return to fix any issues related to our installation work at no additional charge during the warranty period
  • Manufacturer product warranty — Most products carry their own warranty ranging from 1 to 5 years
  • Programming — Control system programming done during installation is covered under our labor warranty

What Is NOT Typically Covered

  • Physical damage — Damage caused by accidents, power surges (without a surge protector), water, or misuse
  • Normal wear — Batteries, projector lamps, and other consumables
  • Third-party changes — Issues caused by modifications made by someone other than Smart Systems
  • ISP or service changes — If your internet provider changes equipment that affects your system

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact Smart Systems and describe the issue
  2. We will determine if the issue falls under warranty
  3. If covered, we will schedule a repair at no charge
  4. If not covered, we will provide a quote before any work is done
