Battery type: 4x AA alkaline batteries (do not use rechargeable batteries)How to tell batteries are low:
- The Control4 app or touchscreen will display a low battery warning
- The lock keypad may beep or flash red when you lock/unlock
- The lock may respond slowly
- Remove the interior cover of the lock (slide up or unscrew depending on model)
- Remove the old batteries and insert 4 new AA batteries
- Replace the cover
- Test the lock from both the keypad and the Control4 app
Hunter Douglas Motorized Shades
Battery type: Varies by model — most use a rechargeable battery pack (Hunter Douglas PowerView battery wand) or a plug-in power adapterHow to tell batteries are low:
- Shades move slowly or stop partway
- Shades do not respond to commands
- Remove the battery wand from the shade headrail
- Charge it using the included USB charger (4-6 hours for full charge)
- Reinsert the wand
