Restaurant projects often highlight the variety of work we do. For this particular project, we were working with a new restaurant that was opening in a former restaurant's space, so some of our job was working with what was already in place, and some was starting from scratch.

For surveillance, we installed a 16-channel analog DVR to use with the existing security cameras and power supply.

For the network, we installed a new gigabit router and gigabit network switch to provide a solid backbone for the hardwired and wireless network. Indoor and outdoor-rated wireless access points were placed to ensure sufficient coverage throughout the restaurant. We used high density models to ensure reliability regardless of crowd size.

To update the audio system, we connected the existing amplifier and speakers to three new Sonos streaming music players. The restaurant already had numerous TVs, but we added a 75" Sony Bravia to a back wall.

In addition to the work seen in the photos, there are, at times, things that a job requires to support the new additions we install. On this project, Party Fowl's equipment rack was too small and needed an upgrade. We replaced it with a larger rack that could house all of their corporate and Point-of-Sale networking equipment along with the satellite boxes, audio system, and security camera system.
