General Inquiry

## Warranty Overview

Smart Systems stands behind the work we do and the products we install.

### What Is Typically Covered

- **Labor warranty** — We will return to fix any issues related to our installation work at no additional charge during the warranty period
- **Manufacturer product warranty** — Most products carry their own warranty ranging from 1 to 5 years
- **Programming** — Control system programming done during installation is covered under our labor warranty

### What Is NOT Typically Covered

- **Physical damage** — Damage caused by accidents, power surges (without a surge protector), water, or misuse
- **Normal wear** — Batteries, projector lamps, and other consumables
- **Third-party changes** — Issues caused by modifications made by someone other than Smart Systems
- **ISP or service changes** — If your internet provider changes equipment that affects your system

### How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Contact Smart Systems and describe the issue
2. We will determine if the issue falls under warranty
3. If covered, we will schedule a repair at no charge
4. If not covered, we will provide a quote before any work is done

### Extending Your Coverage

Ask about our **maintenance plans** for ongoing coverage, priority service, and regular system check-ups.
