Due to this, the project involved doing many of the same upgrades and enhancements four times over so that each space had equal and independent functionality. Each room got a new NEC laser projector with power conditioning, as well as new projection screens with quiet drive motors. New 22" Crestron touch screens were placed at each podium, and each podium received new digital connections, with inputs including room PC, laptop, and Blu-Ray player. We eliminated the need for many of the existing connections to the podium with the new wiring, making everything cleaner and more user-friendly. Other upgraded equipment included four new Blu-Ray players, four new handheld microphones, four new lapel microphones, and a new amplifier in each room to power the existing speakers. We added occupancy sensing to each entrance so that the entire room doesn't "wake up" when unnecessary, saving energy. In some instances, the overall space needed some enhancements that one or two devices could handle and still provide coverage for the entire space. We added a new Crestron control processor, a new uninterrupted power supply, new power conditioning, and two new digital signal processors with integrated audio conferencing. The resulting space is one that can work as one large training room, or one that can be seamlessly divided into four separate training spaces. ### Project Details **Category:** COMMERCIAL **Location:** Chattanooga, TN **Project Type:** Full AV Integration **Budget Range:** Less than $100K **Disciplines:** Audio, Video, Training ### Equipment & Products - Audix Antenna Distribution System - Audix R42 Two Channel Diversity Receiver, H60/OM2 Handheld Transmitter, and B60 Bodypack Transmitter with ADX10 Lavalier Microphone (4) - AVFI LCD Monitor Mount Designed for Podium and Lectern Surfaces (4) - Biamp Digital Audio Server with 12 Analog Inputs, 8 Analog Outputs with Acoustic Echo Cancellation Technology (2) - Crestron Single-Channel Modular Power Amplifier, 50W, 70V (4) - Crestron 5-Port PoE Switch (4) - Crestron 3-Series Control System - Crestron Digital Graphics Engine 100 (4) - Crestron 8x8 DigitalMedia Switcher - Crestron DigitalMedia 8G+ 4K60 4:4:4 HDR Receiver and Room Controller 100 (4) - Crestron DigitalMedia 8G+ 4K60 4:4:4 HDR Transmitter 202 (4) - Crestron DigitalMedia 8G+ 4K60 4:4:4 HDR Input Card for DM Switchers, HDBaseT Compatible (4) - Crestron 2-Channel DigitalMedia 8G+ 4K60 4:4:4 HDR Output Card for DM Switchers (2) - Crestron 2-Channel HDMI Output Card for DM Switchers - Crestron Dual-Technology Occupancy Sensor with Cresnet (4) - Crestron 4x2 4K HDMI Switcher (4) - Crestron 21.5" HD Touch Screen Display (4) - NEC Premium 6000 Lumen, WUXGA, LCD Laser-Phosphor Projector (4) - Netgear 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged PoE Switch - Da-Lite 123" 16:10 Fabric and Motor Replacement (4) - Wattbox Uninterruptible Power Supply - Sony Blu-Ray Disc Player, Upscaling, WiFi (4) ### Interested In A Similar Project?
